Go-Kan-Ryu Karate is a traditional Japanese style of karate. GKR is a non-contact karate, with a heavy emphasis on strong basics, kata (patterns) and kumite (sparring) and has grown to become one of the most popular karate organisations in the world, with well over 40,000 students taking part.
