I’m Donna Moala, founder of Parenting Collective, and I help exhausted parents find calmer nights and more connected days, without leaving their baby to cry it out.
My work started with sleep. Over nearly a decade I’ve supported families worldwide, from newborns to teens, using a responsive, secure attachment approach. Every family gets a plan that fits them, not a one size fits all program. I don’t believe we can force or teach a baby to sleep. Crying is communication, so I stay with you and your little one, building flexible routines and gentle foundations that respect their developing nervous system and your instincts.
Then I noticed something. Sleep is rarely just about sleep. It’s about the whole family, how parents feel, and the lens we see our children, and ourselves, through. That’s where conscious parenting comes in. Trained by Dr. Shefali, and drawing on Gottman, Jai Institute and Dr. Vanessa Lapointe, I help parents look beneath behaviour, understand before correcting, and hold connection and clear boundaries together.
What makes me different? I see the parent, not just the problem. When parents feel steady, children feel safe, so I support your nervous system as much as your child’s sleep. No shame, no fear, no rigid rules, no starting again alone when things change. Just warm, practical support from someone who walks beside you for the long haul.
